Welcome

Whatever brought you here, I want to say welcome.

I'm Matthew, the lead pastor at Christ Church. I came to Langley more than 20 years ago now (one of those facts that still surprises me). And somewhere along the way, I fell in love with this city and its people.

A few years ago, I had an unexpected moment in prayer where God completely shifted how I see this place. I had a vivid picture of Jesus smiling over the neighbourhood — over the streets, the skatepark, and the community centre. Since then, I can't shake this sense of God's deep love for the people who live here.

At Christ Church, we love this region and the people in it. Together we're learning what it means to follow Jesus not just on Sundays, but in all of life — to be His apprentices in the everyday. We’d love for you to join us.
