Small Groups

Following Jesus Together

Small groups are where church becomes community — a place to share life, grow in faith, and follow Jesus alongside people who know you.

If you're new to Christ Church, start with Life Together — our two-week introduction to small groups, offered every Fall, Winter, and Spring. It's the best way to meet others and find a group where you belong.

If you are wanting to go deeper, consider starting an Apprentice Group!

Why do I need to take a course to join a Life Group?

Forming a community with others takes intention. Life Together gives everyone a shared starting point — a chance to hear why we do things the way we do, ask questions, and get a feel for what group life is like before committing. It makes for healthier groups and better connections from the start.

Do I need to attend both sessions?

We'd love for you to attend both — each session builds on the other and you'll get the most out of it that way. That said, if life gets in the way, reach out and we'll do our best to make sure you don't miss out.

How will I be placed in a group?

We take geography seriously — groups that live near each other tend to stay connected more naturally. We'll do our best to place you with others from your area, and we'll always take your preferences into account. We won't place you anywhere you don't want to be.

Why aren't all groups open to new members?

Groups have natural limits — sometimes it's the size of the space, sometimes a group is walking through a difficult season together and needs time to focus. We work with leaders to make room wherever we can.

What if I missed the latest Life Together or can't make the scheduled dates?

Life Together runs three times a year — Fall, Winter, and Spring — so another opportunity is never far away. If none of those work for you, get in touch and we'll figure something out.
